Sean MacIvor

My name is Sean. I've been coming to Tain & District youth café (YMCA) for the past 12 yrs and in 2015 I officially became a Volunteer.  I've had the opportunity to attend many YMCA events during my time at the café including YMCA International Festival in Prague.  I help run many clubs here including P7 transition.

I won Volunteer of the Year Scotland in 2016.  Being a volunteer is a great opportunity and valuable experience.  I really enjoy my time with Tain & District Youth Café (YMCA) and hope to have many more years within the YMCA.

Hi, I'm Isla.

I have been volunteering at the Youth Café for the past 4 years.

When I am at the youth café I serve people from the coffee bar as part of the café crew.

I have been to YMCA Scotland's National Assembly in Livingston as part of a group of young people from Tain Youth Café.  There was roughly 100 delegates at this event, where we attended various workshops incl. Body Confidence and political issues, amongst others.  I met several other young people from across Scotland who I now keep in touch with.

I was also selected to be part of the steering group for our 25th Anniversary year of celebrations.  I was an intracule part of creating our launch event that was very well received within the local community and our biggest fund raiser to date.
